Centaurus A is the closest radio galaxy to Earth — just 13 million light years away — an elliptical giant with an enormous dust trail cutting through its centre. While we don’t know if life exists there, this piece dares to imagine it: what habitats might evolve, what forms the inhabitants might choose, what architecture might emerge in deep space.
